In a surprising turn of events, the granny panties are making a come-back in popularity with women.
While some women enjoy wearing g-strings and think their butt looks great in them, most dislike the feeling of walking around with a permanent wedgie. And thanks to seamless underwear, there is no longer the argument of having to wear them to avoid visible panty lines (VPLs).
According to market research authority NPD, hipsters are taking over the g-string in terms of gross amount sold. Bikini-cuts continue to be the most popular style for women, but a surprising figure was that the number of high-cut briefs sold in a year more than doubled in number from USD$79 million to $197 million in 2012.
And for those of you that believe granny panties aren’t sexy, then think again. Any kind of underwear is sexy if you feel sexy in it.
