Washing your Partner’s Underwear – To Do or Not To Do?

May 11, 2015 1 min read

Underwear is vital. It envelops all of your most sacred areas and protects you from complete vulnerability, so when is it OK to get domestic with underwear when it belongs to your other half?

For some, the answer is never. If washing is something you consider a chore, why would you want to get up close and personal with your partner’s dirty laundry anyway?

But if you find laundry to be a meditative part of your day, then why not add your partner’s underwear into the mix.

Let us not forget the widely held view that being in a relationship also entails helping each other out, and that includes when it comes time to wash their delicates.

Writer Goretti Amayo claimed that she has followed in her mother’s footsteps, and feels that washing undies that belong to the father of her children is a natural thing to do.

“Clearly, I have shared a lot more with him than just living quarters, so what is picking up a piece of cloth that houses his more intimate regions and making sure they are clean?”Amayo argued.
